Tinder Shoots for Students

Recently Tinder held a contest for different schools and universities around the country to win a Cardi B concert for their school. The contest was whichever school got the most matches would get a free Cardi B contest. This contest was very good public relations, it increased user ship and made more students download the app. I think this is funny for many reasons. Tinder saw that a lot of their users are young adults but not college age kids. This contest got students, some of who have never used Tinder or never would, to download the app. While only one school won the concert, people were going crazy for the Tinder contest. Students all across the country were posting all over social media, including Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook, encouraging friends to download the app and get swiping. The contest started a frenzy and got Tinder many new users.
